basic / premium scan
Demo scans (1.5MP 1512x1002) exclude color and density adjustments. although it is a more cost-effective solution, it can make color shifts and exposure issues much more prominent. we highly recommend our Basic or Premium scans, as those are a higher resolution and come with adjustments in order to optimize your photos.
an image like this in particular can really show the differences between the scans; although subtle to some, the Demo scans have a muddiness to them and purple cast, which dulls the color of the car. however, in the Basic/Premium scans, this is amended with the addition of more green and red hues.

I've known about Harvey Film Labs but it took a few years before I finally needed their services and I'm so glad I did! I had one film roll that had expired and one nearing expiration, and both still came out in the best possible quality. The only photos that didn't develop well were due to user error (I didn't use the cameras flash, the environment itself was too dark, etc.) but I was well aware I would have a few of those. That was not due to HFL's services.
Their instructions were very clear and easy to understand after placing my order, they were efficient with communicating when my order had been received or was being processed, and the overall turnaround time was accurate to what I was told. I didn't purchase the add-on prints as I wanted to make multiple copies on my own time, but even the process of downloading the digital photos was very straightforward and simple as well. It makes me excited to get back into physical media , and I definitely plan on using their services again in the future :D
Hands down my favorite lab. I will continue to ship my negatives 2000+ miles to receive the high quality scans and wonderful customer service I’ve come to expect from HFL over the last year and a half of working with them. Their hard work is always appreciated and the quality of their work is always guaranteed!

I have been using harvey film lab for my first couple rolls of film, and I am extremely pleased with the results. the turnaround has been quick, the scans are beautiful, and the price is competitive. hfl offers a quality service that you just don't get at a pharmacy photo service / big box store photo service. getting your rolls developed is a smooth process and you are updated each step of the way. the results speak for themselves. : )
